Advay ingests external simulator, decoder and measured-device results and emits a portable Evidence-Graded Artifact that can be verified without trusting an Advay dashboard session.

Canonical taxonomy

One vocabulary across platform, twin and external results.

The standard preserves detailed evidence labels while mapping them to one versioned rank model for conservative comparison.

Measured evidence

Measured silicon, measured runtime and calibrated device campaigns retain their measurement provenance and uncertainty.

Composed evidence

Claims derived from measured, EM, fabrication, Hamiltonian or profile inputs are labelled as stitched composition rather than direct measurement.

Simulation and projection

Aer, Stim/PyMatching, analytic formulas, Monte Carlo models and extrapolations are identified by their actual method and evidence strength.

Unavailable / declined

When an input or capability is missing, the system emits an explicit declined classification instead of silently upgrading the claim.

Operating rules

The verifier checks more than a signature.

Weakest-input propagation

A derived quantity cannot receive a stronger evidence grade than its weakest dependency.

Per-value provenance DAG

Every scalar claim can reference the inputs, method and source that produced it.

Canonical signed artifact

The EGA is canonicalised, SHA-256 sealed, optionally chained to a predecessor and signed with Ed25519.

Conflict-of-interest disclosure

Certification requires an explicit independent, related-party or self-certification declaration.

Artifact lifecycle

Ingest → grade → certify → verify.

  1. Ingest: normalize Aer counts, Stim/PyMatching decode outputs or measured campaigns.
  2. Grade: classify each value and construct its provenance graph.
  3. Certify: disclose COI, seal the content hash, link the certificate chain and sign.
  4. Verify: validate schema, hash, provenance constraints and signature through the public verifier.
